Tales of Lavender (Ch.2)
Day passes, and night comes swiftly, bringing with it the bright moon over the horizon. I sit beside the window stretching as I finish doing a little work at my desk, taking in the darkness of the night sky. A drop of rain hits against the window, followed by more as the moon sets behind a cloud, bringing with it the rain to patter down against the house. A sigh slips through my breath knowing it will be yet another rainy night out here in the Lavender District.

Tales of Lavender
Rousing from my nap, my eyes squint in unrest while peering up at the ceiling, the room filled with the light of the evening setting sun. I stretch out against my sheets and rubbing my eyes as I begin to sit up in the bed, turning my gaze to the room already half messy from my clothes laid on the floor and extra left over stuff from the days earlier adventure questing for treasure. With a defeated sigh I arise from the bed, slipping into a shirt to at least somewhat cover myself as I begin to clean the room.
