Ranked: Bob Dylan's Bootleg Series
Bob Dylan's Bootleg series is probably bigger than some bands entire career's worth of recordings. We aren't finished yet since we have only made it halfway through his career - we still have so many bootlegs to go (I believe). Up to now, we've got 14 volumes of pure excellence - versions of similar songs that never made it to the album, demos and short clips and even some songs that are completely new and recorded in their entirety.

Now, please don't be fooled as there are two versions of this song. There is one that appears on the Greatest Hits Vol. 2 and there is one, which is slightly more famous that appears on the Bootleg Vol. 11: The Raw Basement Tapes. The one on the Raw Basement Tapes is the one that people normally cover.

Ritchie Valens, Godfather of Chicano Rock and one of the greatest vocalists to ever live was a pioneer of classic 1950s music and one hell of a guitarist. His songs are severely underrated but I want to share with you one of my favourite singers in the whole world. As you know, Ritchie Valens was taken from us early—aged only 17-years'-old, he died in the plane crash that killed Buddy Holly and the Big Bopper. He was the youngest to die in the crash.
