I had a boyfriend with a needy ex-girlfriend and what I learnt which I will use in future relationships
The relationship lasted for ten months, but I feel that the only time where I felt the happiest was in the first month and a half. After that, it was pretty much a rollercoaster where I put myself through a lot and became someone I never wanted to be, which is scary to still think about it.

Dealing with Conflict While Having Anxiety
I’ve been dealing with anxiety since I was about 10-years-old, and at that age, I only really experienced it when I was in the presence of a specific person. I had a traumatic experience because of this person. At 10-years-old, I was shouted at badly and it’s affected me ever since. However, for the longest time, I didn’t know I had anxiety. I also developed depression about three years later because of bullying. It takes a lot out of you. I learned to hide my emotions as I didn’t want anyone to know what was happening—this included my friends and my parents. I also became very secretive and started isolating myself.

Changing My Perspective on My Ideal Guy
From a young age, I’ve always had crushes on boys, I think since the age of five years old. As I grew up in school and started to interact more with guys, I created my ideal boyfriend. But at this time it was very vague. I didn’t date till I was 17 and so my idea of what I wanted in a guy was based around the movies mostly and from what I saw from friends boyfriends. But their boyfriends were just boys, they were still immature and many didn’t understand the importance of maintaining a relationship with their partner.

Going to university is an exciting time, but it means that you have to begin your journey to being independent. That means buying your own stuff for your bedroom, university supplies, food, and drinks. But being environmentally friendly seems harder to do while being a student as you have to make the commitment yourself. But in the long run, buying eco-friendly products that are sustainable will save you money and produce less pollution.

Why Plastic Straws Harm the Planet and Eco-Friendly Straw Alternatives
Plastic straws have been around since I was born, I never knew the issues of plastic straws until I became aware of the impact plastic had on our oceans. I think many people have seen the video of a turtle having a plastic straw wedged in its noise. It was a really sad thing to see, but I really had to do my own research on the issue in order to give myself a reason to stop using these straws.

For many people that I know, they were lucky to be born with the greatness of thin hair. Thin hair is way more common compared to thick hair, although many of my friends have wanted to create volume due to thin hair being boring and flat at times.

Is Long Distance Worth It?
A long distance relationship was not something I ever thought I would be in when I was 17 years old. Prior to this relationship, I have been single since birth. Obviously, I always wanted to be in a relationship and most people I've talked to have said that dating when you are 18 is quite late, as many start dating at the age of 12. I think that’s way too young.
