Improving Patient Experience in Clinics with Efficient Appointment Scheduling
In today, the share of patients’ experience in the clinic depends on its success. While growing Importance of schedule Management indicates that an Efficient appointment scheduling system not only improves operational efficiency but also has great strategic role improving patient satisfaction. On this, the principles of scheduling work to reduce the time that patients spend waiting for their health services, increase utilization of existing human resource, and improve the health of the clients, all positively influencing experience. Furthermore, from a broader perceptive of hospital management, good appointment scheduling systems in place give key information about the flow of the patients and distribution of resource thereby enhancing the quality of service being delivered. This paper aims at discussing the effects of effective appointment scheduling and ways, through which clinics can enhance the efficiency of their work.
