It was October 12th, 2201. It was her 16th birthday and she thought she would be spending it entirely differently. She was supposed to be with her family, with friends-even at home. Instead, she was alone. In the hospital with a group of doctors all wearing suits that were so puffy, silver and metallic that they looked like they were not people at all, but some weird metallic monster with a hose for a nose.
