Designing with Agate
I have dedicated two painstaking years to producing my apparel line and my product line under Backcountry's brand, but I am still working hard to get my work manufactured and established. Over these years, I taught myself how to create my designs and projects with Photoshop. With this self-teaching came lots of challenges and mistakes, which I have solved by watching many online videos. I have been using Photoshop for over ten years; all the while, my creative mind would never slow down for me. As I worked on one project, I'd come up with another idea that would cause me to stop the first project and start a sample of the other so that I wouldn't forget it. The challenges and mistakes that I have faced have taught me how to have more patience when designing my clothing. Photoshopping and designing have remained traditional and enjoyable activities. Overcoming these struggles has given me an understanding and a greater appreciation for the design work.
