This Year is Like No Other...Travel News You Need in 2023
We are in another year folks, and as usual, this blog and other pundits of the travel industry are making predictions as to new and best destinations, any new travel restrictions enacted, and the state of the individually impacted suppliers of travel. Who's Afraid of COVID-19 variants? Not When You Are Informed!
It comes as no surprise to me that travel has picked up during the past few months as travel has become less restricted in the never-ending COVID times. I (now) work in an industry where the up and downs of travel are to be expected even when we didn't have this thing looming over us.

There's a Whole 'Lotta Rhythm Goin' 'Round (part 2)
There is a lot of things that I have to say about Los Angeles that hasn't been said in a long time. We have to recognize the impact on how minorities (people of African, Latino, and Asian descent) have contributed to the founding of the city. Past and present contributions can be found on Olivera Street, Chinatown, the foregone history of Central Ave. of the 1910's to early 1960's in Los Angeles. These and other "lost" Los Angeles stories need to be shared and told to future generations, especially in this "woke" age.

There’s A Whole Lotta Rhythm Goin’ ‘Round (part 1)
I’m looking into a lot of nostalgia lately. What would‘ve happened if I wasn’t born in Los Angeles or led the life I had up to this point? The more you think about it, the more you tend to realize that you are supposed to be where you are. Your presence does make a difference. I’m glad to have lived where I grew up because no other location would have suited me. This story is a dedication to where I live-my hometown neighborhood at its adjoining ‘hood in Los Angeles-Hyde Park and Windsor Hills.
