After going to the bathroom to straighten out my uniform and hair, Sora walked me to my classroom. We wave good-bye and I turn to face my classroom door. My heart starts to race and I can feel myself getting a little lightheaded.

It’s been about a month since I woke up. “Make sure that you keep up with your stretching and mobility exercises,” Kou says for the millionth time. I just stare off into space whenever he talks, How many times is he going to repeat himself? “And make sure you go for walks every few days!”

I’m lying on the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever had the displeasure of lying on, but I couldn’t be happier than I am right now. Only being able to see straight up, around me, I can hear sniffling and a muffled cry. I assume Mary is crying into her mother’s apron probably hoping I won’t know that it’s her.
