Ghosts of Surf Culture Past
Perhaps some of you will remember the late ’60s and early ’70s, when the chargers of the Pacific were the unknown ghosts who had an incredible influence on what Surf City is today. Their names are not inscribed on the sidewalks of Main Street, nor are they mentioned with any fervor in the Surf Museum. Nevertheless, these surfers of a forgotten past had a tremendous influence on the surf culture of today.
