What If?

Prologue: Hi, I’m Elise Hiser, and I’m here today to explain something that may be very troubling for some of you to hear. Fortunately, I am working on ways to end it. This all started way before I was born, and I have no clue how long, maybe since the beginning of time. You see, I grew up in the part of society that you don’t see. We are called the GAP: standing for Gifted Advisors for the People. That means we are the people who choose how your life is run. At birth we are assigned a DP (Designated Person), for whom we make life choices; essentially what you would call the “voice inside your head”, yep that’s me, well at least for my person Jacob Winsethorp, he's the one who changed me and made me realize what this GAP was and I wanted no part in being torn from my one true love just to make more super humans, to corrupt the minds of society, not really my style. Our special team is like a hybrid of humans or a super breed, hand picked by the government, and they keep us pretty well hidden considering you've clearly had no knowledge of our existence prior. I know this is a lot to take in at once, it’s very confusing, but just stick around a while and it will all be explained along with why I caused everything to change by breaking the border and starting a rebellion to last a lifetime.
