Kevin Feige Comments on the Big Zendaya Twist in 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' — Which He Says Isn't Actually a Twist
With critics and fans alike cheering for Spider-Man: Homecoming, it's clear that the wall-crawler's latest big-screen outing is a roaring success. Tom Holland, in particular, has been praised for his performance; he perfectly balances both Peter Parker and Spider-Man and is absolutely brilliant in the role — but fans are confused when it comes to a major twist at the end of the movie.

Oh, Reilly? 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' Costume Designer Reveals Scarlet Spider Suit — Why Did Marvel Reject It?
One of the most talked-about aspects of Spider-Man: Homecoming is the new, high-tech suit that Tony Stark gives to Peter Parker. With over 576 different webbing settings, web wings and even spider tracers, Stark has well and truly pimped out Spidey's suit. There's even a highly sophisticated artificial intelligence, which Peter names "Karen," that can assist the young hero in times of need.

'Metal Gear Solid': Why Staying Faithful to the Source Material Is Crucial for Jordan Vogt-Roberts's Movie
If there's one video game series that warrants a film adaptation, it's Metal Gear Solid. Each and every installment in the series has been critically acclaimed, and it's allowed games to become legitimate storytelling media rather than an escape from the real world. Hideo Kojima's masterpiece is a vast tapestry of political intrigue and espionage that takes place over more than half a century in the game's world.

Could This Year's Arrowverse Crossover Special Take Place in Supergirl's World of Earth-38?
In last year's highly successful crossover between Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl, the Arrowverse came together to battle the Dominators, a race of aliens bent on destroying all Metahumans. It was a threat worthy of uniting all of the heroes from Earth-1, and it was big enough that it warranted calling some backup from Earth-38: Supergirl. The crossover was a great success and it certainly whet the appetite for further crossovers down the line.

'Mistakes Were Made': Henry Cavill Speaks Candidly About the DCEU's Rocky Start and Hopeful Future
Since 2013's Man of Steel, the DCEU has had a mixed reception from fans and critics alike. While some have loved the films (and are very vocal about this fact), many others have openly criticised a number of the decisions made within them, especially the overly political and overstuffed Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Stephen Amell Reveals Who Came Up with Idea for Establishing Bruce Wayne in the Arrowverse (Spoiler: It Was Him)
A couple of weeks ago, Arrow set the internet into a frenzy when Oliver Queen mentioned Bruce Wayne in a press conference. After five years, we finally had confirmation that Batman — or at least, his alter-ego — existed within the Arrowverse. There had already been mentions of Gotham City and Superman's dark, brooding friend on Supergirl, but until now, there was nothing to say that he existed on Earth-1.

From TARDIS To MCU: 9 'Doctor Who' Actors That Played Comic Book Characters
It's quite surprising the amount of actors who have gone from #DoctorWho to superhero films and TV. Even if we just look at #NuWho, there have been a fair few actors who have moved on to superhero media — some in the #MCU, whereas others occupy the #Arrowverse — whether small cameos or leading roles. Seriously, there's more than you might think.

5 Casting Decisions Everybody Hated, But Then Loved
Nowadays, everything is scrutinized online. Be it writing, films, games or TV shows, anyone who has access to a keyboard has the capability to express their opinions about certain subjects (hell, I'm doing it right now!). Every once in a while, a movie studio casts an actor in a role that causes huge debate. Recently, rumors surfaced online that Zendaya would not be playing a character called Michelle in the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming, but she would in fact be playing Mary Jane Watson. It doesn't take much to look at Zendaya and see she doesn't look much like the comic's version of Mary Jane, but just because she might not LOOK the part, that doesn't mean she won't be really good in the role. I admit, I've seen nothing of her or her acting ability, but I'm happy to reserve judgement until the film is released.

The Fantastic Four have not had the smoothest of rides with regards to transitioning from comic books to the silver screen. In two separate film incarnations, Marvel's first family has stumbled. But, without the intervention of the producers, it could have been so different.
