One Last Book, I Promise.
KNOCK! KNOCK!
“Grandpa! Grandpa!” A little girl yelled from the top of the stairs suddenly, “Mum grandpa’s here!” she called for her mum. Grandpa greeted Mum and was looked to the stairs and saw her Granddaughter, Bee. Bee was very excited about seeing her grandpa, he’d only come around every 6 months or so because of how far they were from each other. “Oh, hello little Bee” he said quite tiredly. It was 10 at night and he’d been awake the whole care ride here. “Shouldn’t you be asleep Bee?” He tiredly questions raising an eyebrow. She frowns, “I stayed awake just for you! I wanted you to read me a story!” She frowns once more. A barely audible. “Okay. Go get ready for bed and I’ll meet you up there.” He says happily. Odd. He heads upstairs behind Bee who’s running like it’s a marathon. She laughs.
