A glimmer of hope.. How do brain implants help paralyzed people "speak" again?
Dr. Jimmy Henderson had one wish throughout his childhood, that his father could talk to him. Now, as a scientist and neurosurgeon at Stanford University, Henderson and his colleagues are working on developing brain implants that might be able to fulfill similar desires in other paralyzed or speech-impaired people.
