The Ghost
The rain always seems to chill the bones in the worst ways. Walking the muddy streets in the snow is never a good idea to do when drunk. But who will stop me? I find an alley way, trying to find some form of shelter to not sleep in the rain.

The Call of the Wolf
The howl of the wolf breaks the silence of the cold winter night. The townsfolk of Latvenria awake and shutter to the low, deep howl. Many get warmer clothes on and rush outside and all gather at the gate looking out into Nefildin. A large pine nettle forest which curls around the town like a large smile. The forest is thick and dark, nothing can be seen from inside.

Our car slowly drives down the curvy road through the forest. The trees menacingly tilt inwards towards one another trying to block out the sun. We continue driving down the road, I can see that mom and Sam are talking to one another. I can’t make out anything as my music is blasting in my ears, trying to make the outside world go away.

The year is 2634. The world has ended. The days of lounging around on the beach, drinking coolers on the back end of trucks is over. 30 years of nuclear war and unimaginable destruction has put the world in total and utter chaos. No more green, no more clean water. Those days are far behind humanity, or what’s left of it.
