Secret Lover PART 1
Never once did I think I would be in this situation. I never thought I would have such an interesting secret to keep. Before I get out of control, let me start from the beginning... Hi, my name is Elizabeth Stevens and I have a girl- OMG no. Let me start over. My name is Elizabeth Stevens and I have a secret. I'm 16 years old and I'm from Arizona, I live with my parents and my older brother Jake. He's a nimrod. But this story isn't about him. The story I'm about to tell you starts last summer. It was a really hot day, it was Monday and I had no intentions of leaving the house at all. I usually just enjoy staying in and watching movies. But something weird happened to me that day. Something compelled me to get out. As weird as it sounds. I went for a walk. Ew, I know.. a walk. But anyway, I put on my ripped shorts that mom doesn't like because they show a little too much "cheek". But I don't mind it. I threw on the purple tank top I got from Tilly's and then slid on my converse mid-way out the door. Now that I think of it, I didn't even tell my parents where I was going. Shoot, I didn't even know where I was going. About 5 minutes into my walk, I noticed a new couple was moving down the street. I'm kind of a nosey person so of course, I did what any 16-year-old would do... I hid behind a bush and tried to scope out our new neighbors. Okay maybe not every 16-year-old girl would do that, but it's what I did. I saw two adults walk into the house with boxes and tubs full of clothes. It wasn't too interesting so I decided to keep walking. BUT as soon as I turn around... there she was. The prettiest girl I'd ever seen really. She had black/blonde curly hair and the cutest freckles on her nose. She was wearing cool clothes and she had the sparkliest green eyes. She was looking right into my eyes, she was staring into my soul. "Why are you hiding behind a bush?", she laughed. I didn't know what to say. I mean what could I say, it was pretty obvious that I was stalking my new neighbors. So I did my best. "I'm checking out the new neighbors.. they seem a bit weird huh", I said with the most crooked smile ever. She looked at me for a few more seconds then at the house and then back at me. "Yeah.. totally. I agree 100%. But what makes you think that?", she asked me with a smirk on her face while looking straight into my eyes. I was so nervous. "I dunno.. they seem like maybe they put up a perfect front but they aren't", I said trying to save myself from this awkward conversation. She laughed so hard, I didn't see what was so funny. At this point, the whole situation was just awkward so I decided to try and end the conversation. "Well.. I was going for a walk and my parents are probably wondering where I am now so.." She looked me down and up then said, "Alright, it was nice meeting you. I should probably head home too.." And at that moment I knew that I had embarrassed the crap out of myself because SHE WALKED AWAY, RIGHT INTO THE NEW HOUSE. Yeah, you hear me, the house I was just stalking and insulted... SHE LIVES THERE. I sped and walked back home in shame and embarrassment. I insulted her family. But then again so did she. But I said it first. But she agreed. OMG. She probably hates me. But what if she doesn't.
