Dealing with Trauma
Trauma - A deeply depressing or disturbing experience Dealing with trauma is a job on its own. For black and brown folk especially in the inner cities, trauma is almost a norm. And it comes in a variety of forms. We are all subjected to some type of traumatic experience at a young age. I'm speaking generally If you didn't experience something traumatic then kudos to you. However, for inner-city youth, Trauma is like breathing. So many of us experience it so frequently we eventually become numb to it.

Make The Dreamwork
Something that we as young professionals overlook in our day to day lives is our teamwork. How often do we sit back and analyze the team of people we work with and envision them as teams seeking to achieve an ultimate goal. In fact, that may be the last thing on our minds when we're young and pursuing our professions. That, or it may come as second nature. We all know the saying, teamwork makes the dream-work. But how many of us are actually making the dream work? Does it align with our dream? Are we even dreaming? Is teamwork really effective?

Monogamy, is it natural or Possible?
A concept I've always had trouble understanding. I've always contemplated if I could practice it as well. Monogamy, the very word burns my fingertips as I type this post. Is this a natural concept? Or is it a societal structure designed to make us feel whole if we're conjoined to one partner.

Reloaded: The Brandon Ingram Story
On November 27th, 2019 prior to the New Orleans Pelicans vs the Los Angeles Lakers game ( AKA The Anthony Davis return), Bleacher Report’s Mirin Fader wrote a report on the grueling and heartbreaking journey of Brandon Ingram from his nasty blood clot injury that sidelined him till now. In the report, she detailed the harsh realities Ingram faced while recovering from such a nasty injury and the surgery he went through.
