The Sims is a virtual dollhouse where you can create your own scenarios and characters. It was developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts. The creative video game is played while in "live mode," but the player may also enter "build mode" or "buy mode" to pause time or renovate the house. The game begins with each family have a certain amount of money to build or purchase a home or lot. The Sims can interact with other Sims and other players can be invited to participate.
