The old house on the hill had been abandoned for years. The locals whispered that it was cursed, that strange things happened there after dark. But for a group of teenagers looking for a thrill, that was exactly what made it perfect.

It was a dark and stormy night, and Emily was all alone in her house. The wind was howling outside, making the shutters rattle against the windows. Emily had always loved horror movies, but being alone in her house on a night like this was making her nervous. She tried to shake off the feeling of unease and settle in to watch a scary movie, but as she reached for the remote, she heard a strange noise coming from the basement.
