Wardens of the Wild
There weren't always wyverns in the valley. Wyverns belonged in the peaks of mountains and were supposed to rule the skies. When Abel was young, his elders had told him stories of a world with thousands of these majestic creatures, beautiful and terrifying in equal measure. They had existed for eons before humanity discovered magic and emerged from the caves where they once hid.
