Being Left Out
I don't like being left out. It makes me feel like I can't be "one of them." It sends the message that I don't fit anywhere. One of my biggest lifelong goals is to find a good group of people that accept me for everything I am, and that I welcome for everything they are. And when I say everything, I mean everything. All the best traits, but also all the negative baggage.

Why Republicans Should Be Worried About Rising Sea Levels
Background Climate change is one of the core political issues that candidates need to campaign on if they have not been doing so already. There are many aspects of climate change, one of which is global warming, which is simply the warming of the earth. Climate change, on the other hand, is how global warming is changing the climate. Climate change occurs in various ways, including air pollution and rising sea levels, the latter of which this article will at least begin to focus on. The reason for this is because everyone – regardless of whether you are a human, a plant, or an animal – needs water to survive. Focus will be placed on some of the states where rising sea levels are far more than obvious.

Life as the Oldest Sibling
As I stated in “Lessons from my Internet Friend,” I am the oldest of two siblings. I have one sibling, a younger brother named Phillip. I would hope that my parents would’ve loved us equally throughout our lives, but as I have experienced, I really don’t think that this is the case.

Jokes About Pennsylvania that Are Funny Because They’re True. Top Story - November 2017.
Having lived in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania since 2003, I can tell you: the keystone state is a weird place. It’s basically Philly and the Burgh on either side, and in between you can find a combination of the states of Alabama, Kentucky, and maybe Texas, where many tiny cities are found. These tiny towns are not only suburbs of our two major cities, which are some of the biggest cities in the nation, but also suburbs of some of what I like to call PA’s “minor cities.” These cities include Erie, Scranton, Altoona, and the capital city of Harrisburg, where I grew up. All of that said, please don’t root for the other sports teams, and I say this well aware that people in Harrisburg will root for the Phillies during baseball season, and then during football season, those exact same people will have Terrible Towels as flags outside their houses. Pennsylvania is also seemingly the one state in the entire country that doesn’t sell alcoholic beverages in gas stations or grocery stores, although there have been some strides made in recent years, but most of the time, you have to buy your alcohol at a state-owned Wine & Spirits stores. And don’t even get me started on the Wawa-Sheetz-GetGo war. With all of that in mind, it’s not that uncommon for people to joke about my home state, and to quote The Megas, “some sting but some can’t help but ring true,” and then there are some that are funny because they are true. I found a website with a list of Pennsylvania jokes that I would like to touch on a little bit because, like I said, they’re funny because they’re true, but many might not know how true they actually are.

Lessons From My Internet Friend
I’m 19 years old and the oldest sibling in my immediate family. I have one younger brother. He is 16 years old. Sometimes, I feel like he looks up to me for advice and also sometimes to be a role model of sorts. Sometimes I feel like something of a second mother to him. But sometimes, my brother needs to realize that even the oldest sibling needs some advice of their own. Occasionally, I might try asking my parents for advice on what to do in certain situations, but far more often than not, I simply can’t do that due to circumstances that I just don’t believe are worth talking about in a public setting. That’s where Tony comes in.

Why It's Important to Vote
It’s currently election season in 2017, so we’re not voting for a new president, and, save for New Jersey or Virginia, we won’t be voting for new governors either. 2017 is what’s considered an “off-year” meaning that the focus of this year’s elections is mainly local. That said, these “off-years” are not always the most popular or favorable time for people to go out and cast their ballots.

Who Is Next In The Mueller Probe?
Recently, we witnessed potential history as the investigation into the Trump-Russia ties took another step forward as special counsel Robert Mueller announced the first indictments against former foreign policy George Papadopoulos, former campaign manager Paul Manafort, and Manafort associate Rick Gates. They were indicted on charges of, amongst other things, money laundering and conspiracy against the United States. This major announcement has many people wondering where Mueller's investigation will lead next. I have a few ideas about that. Just a few. I'm not saying that what I'm about to say is all I have to say about this issue. I'm saying that because not only does this matter to Americans, but it also matters to the rest of the world, because the American president has always been considered the "leader of the free world." However, Trump is slowly degrading that every single day, making other countries understandably view the United States of America - again, the "leader of the free world" - very unfavorably.

Reasons Why You Should Consider ACA Enrollment
Recently, the ACA reopened for enrollments for the 2018 enrollment season. This means that from November 1 until December 15 of this year, people can go to healthcare.gov and see what options are available to them in terms of healthcare coverage and benefits. With that, it's time to remind you of the benefits, some known, others maybe not so much.

My Time in the Pennsylvania DHS as Part of the TCP
Over the summer, my mother insisted that I get a job, and she suggested a ride operator at an amusement park, so I applied and I got it. Not too long after that, she suggested that I get a job in the Pennsylvania Temporary Clerical Pool because it paid more than the other one. I politely declined, saying that I already had a job. However, my mother is the kind of person that, when she suggests that I do something, won't stop suggesting it until I actually do it. So, I applied, took the typing exam, and got in. (For the record, when this happened, she said I could quit my first job, but I hadn't even started yet, so why would I quit without at least trying it first?)
