Pet's pet cat
Having been domesticated by humans for 3,500 years (but not quite as domesticated as dogs), cats have become extremely popular pets in homes around the world. Studies have shown that when cats don't eat mice, their night vision is reduced and they lose their ability to be nocturnal for a long time. A study by the University of Heidelberg in Germany found that mice have taurine, a substance that enhances the creatures' ability to see at night. Cats cannot make taurine on their own and can only supplement it by eating mice. There are about 35 species of cat, and the domestic cat is mainly descended from the African wild cat. Cats live almost everywhere in the world, home to everything from tropical rainforests to deserts to the icy landscapes of Siberia. There are four types of popular cats: 1. Western breeds and exotic breeds (including Siamese cats, Oriental cats, etc.). A classification of origin widely popular in the West. 2. Purebred and hybrid cats. Classification according to breed breeding Angle. 3. Domestic and feral cats. According to the living environment, however, there is no hard line between the two. 4. Long-haired and short-haired cats. Mainly according to the length of the hair to classify, for example, Persian cat, Himalayan cat is a long-haired cat; Thai cat, Russian blue cat is a short-haired cat.
