The Secret of the Magic Dessert

By Omar Mohammed Published 7 months ago 1 min read

In a small village, there was an old woman named Umm Salem, famous for making the most delicious desserts. Every day, she prepared a new batch of golden basbousa or crispy kunafa and shared it with the village children. But there was a mysterious secret: anyone who ate her sweets would smile and laugh endlessly! One day, Yasser, a mischievous boy, decided to uncover Umm Salem’s secret. He sneaked into her kitchen at night and saw her adding a drop from a tiny bottle labeled "Joy Water" to the dessert. Curious, Yasser asked, "What’s that?" Umm Salem smiled and said, "These are my happy memories! I add them to the sweets, and they fill everyone’s hearts with joy."Yasser learned the secret but chose to keep it to himself. From that day on, whenever he ate Umm Salem’s desserts, he felt the world was brighter. He realized that happiness is made from love and cherished memories.
