“The Different Sheep”

In a wide green meadow, there lived a flock of sheep. They were all small, white, and looked the same. But among them was one different sheep—his name was Samy.

Samy had gray wool and a black spot around one eye. The other sheep would sometimes laugh and say, “You’re not like us! Why aren’t you all white like we are?”

Samy felt sad, but he never stopped being kind and helpful. He was always the first to warn the flock if a wolf came near, and he was the best at finding fresh grass after the rain.

One foggy day, a little lamb got lost in the mist. The flock panicked—they didn’t know what to do. But Samy didn’t hesitate. He walked into the fog, and his black spot shined like a guide. The shepherd saw it and followed him.

Thanks to Samy’s courage, the lost lamb was found and brought back safely.

From that day on, no one made fun of Samy again. Instead, they were proud to have "the different sheep" in their flock—because he showed them that being different can be something truly special.
