
Moong dal veggie
Ingredients
Moong dal - 1 cup,
Tomato - 1 piece
Ginger - small piece,
Green chillies - 2 pieces,
Onion - 2 pieces, Chilli - 1 teaspoon
Yogurt - half a bowl
Turmeric - half a teaspoon
Coriander - 1 teaspoon
Garham masala - 1 teaspoon
Jumin seeds - half a teaspoon
Chopped coriander, salt - as per taste,
Oil - as per requirement.
Method
Clean the moong dal and soak it for 2-3 hours. Then crush it. Add ginger-chilli and one onion chopped to taste. Prepare the vada mixture by mixing salt. Heat oil in a pan and fry the vada in it. Now crush the onion and tomatoes separately. Whip the curd. Heat a teaspoon of oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, then sauté the onion in it. Then add tomato gravy, curd, green chillies, red chillies, turmeric, coriander powder. When the oil separates from the mixture, add some water to it. When the water boils, add the vada and let it simmer for a while. When the vegetables are ready, garnish with garam masala and coriander and serve.
