Kilkaari a Stage Show Organized
Manav Mangal School Students Promoted Social Values

Mohali, Punjab (India) The annual stage show “Kilkaari” at Manav Mangal Smart School Junior, Sector-91, Mohali, turned into a vibrant celebration of talent, values, and tradition. Students from UKG to Class II showcased a series of well-choreographed and meaningful performances, spreading awareness on critical social issues and celebrating Indian culture.

The event began with a digital presentation highlighting the achievements of the 2024–25 academic session. The cultural program commenced with a spiritual Ganesh Vandana by students of Class II-B, invoking blessings for wisdom and success. This was followed by a touching performance titled “My Grandparents, My Treasure” by Class I-B, emphasizing the love and guidance of grandparents as lifelong companions.

One of the showstoppers was a fashion show titled “Goodness Ambassadors” by UKG-B students, where the little ones confidently walked the stage to promote kindness and empathy. Another notable act by Class I-A, “Food is Life,” sensitized the audience about food wastage and the hard work behind every grain, urging respect for resources.

A powerful performance by UKG-A students addressed the social evil of dowry. With clarity and innocence, the children conveyed that marriage is a celebration of love, not a transaction, ending their act with a strong message: “Let’s join hands and say no to dowry.”
Punjabi pride came alive through “Taal and Tashan”, a high-energy Bhangra performance filled with traditional attire, spirited moves, and the joyful essence of Punjab. The grand finale was a patriotic tribute to Indian soldiers, filled with emotion and gratitude.

Director Sanjay Sardana praised the students for their confidence and highlighted how such performances help overcome stage fear at an early age. He commended the dedicated efforts of the teaching staff in making the event a grand success. The event concluded with the school anthem, leaving the audience filled with pride and inspiration.
