Cabbage and Capsicum Sabji
Ingredients
To make Cabbage and Capsicum Sabji
2 cups thinly sliced cabbage
1/2 cup sliced green chillies
1 tsp oil
1/4 tsp mustard
A pinch of asafoetida
A pinch of turmeric
1 tsp finely chopped green chillies
Salt, to taste
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp lemon juice
Procedure
To make Cabbage and Capsicum Sabji
Heat oil in a wide non-stick pan and add mustard seeds.
When the mustard seeds crackle, add asafoetida, turmeric powder, green chillies and sauté on medium heat for a few seconds.
Add cabbage, capsicum and salt, 1 teaspoon water, mix well and cook on medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add coriander powder and lemon juice, mix well and cook on low flame for another 1 minute, stirring occasionally.
Serve immediately.
