What is Li-Fi?
Li-Fi ( Light Fidelity) can be considered of as a light-based version of Wi-Fi. That is, instead of radio waves, it transmits data using light. Li-Fi employs transceiver-equipped LED bulbs that can both brighten a room and broadcast and receive data. Because basic light bulbs are utilised, there can theoretically be an unlimited number of entry points.
This technique takes advantage of a portion of the electromagnetic spectrum that is underutilised at the moment: the Visible Spectrum. Light has been a part of human life for millions of years and has had no significant negative impact.
