Wake up people . Toughen up !

So, where do I begin? I’m just your regular average Single (divorce) American white girl, No kids, working and tax paying member of society.

Isn’t it a crazy world we live in currently? I consider myself to be Strong, independent, intelligent, hard working, oh, and definitely Funny. If you can’t make yourself laugh, then your not being true to the every day realities we all face.

The struggle is definitely real! But the way I currently see things, we are pushing each other further from the truths of our core values and respect for our community and our nation as a whole. There is too much negative influence that is making people turn on friends and neighbors and those in our life that may have difference of opinions. This is not only a political divide, but a humanity divide that has made Americans feel they must “take a side.” This is not the United American way.

The generation that has now grown to be Extremely Sensitive and offended by the opinions of others has got to Stop 🛑! Remember, we are All Entitled to our own options and thoughts and the right to express them . . If people don’t agree with beliefs of others around us , that’s fine. We can agree to disagree! But it does not mean one is right and the other is wrong. That’s not the American way. We are better then this. What happened to us? Remember how as a nation we could pull together and help each other during tragic times we have faced like 911 or hurricanes Katrina and superstorm Sandy. That’s how I know we can do better. . No one is “above “ anyone or “better” Then the next . If I was to really sure how I feel I would rather be poor and happy and secure with my self then to be rich out of touch and negative towards others. I cherish and I value non-monetary things the ability to see my parents because I work overnights the cat that I have that keeps me company because there’s another soul living in my household besides me the friends that I’ve had for over 20 -30 years that I value their opinions and differences these are the things that matter in life not money not politics not power or status. It’s amazing that in today’s world we have billionaires that are able to purchase companies and go up into space just for the fun of it with their private rockets God bless them but God bless all of us how about we start cleaning up our oceans giving clean water to rural and Third World countries and trying to fix the damage that we’ve done to this beautiful planet that God provided to us I think there’s a lot more important things in life and America has gotten their priorities all messed up, what is really important, ask yourself that? At the end of the day we all die eventually and we leave this world with nothing just as we came into it with nothing. Wake up America if we could do better put yourself aside and put others first and we need to come together even with our differences and be open to the ideas values and beliefs of others.

Peoples Feelings are real. Everyone has feelings and everyone is entitled to their own option. . It’s okay to challenge each other in debate on different views , but we must remain Open and Non-judgmental of others.

Who knows you might even learn something by taking a minute and listening to another view of somebody who feels differently about various topics that affect our every day life, you may surprise yourself sometimes by just listening to the side of another person never realizing that you never took into consideration how things may affect others besides our self .

I feel there is a whole generation that grew up Not knowing how to process “feelings”. Or overcome obsticsls, or even accept failure and differences of opinion from others. . . . . . I blame the “participation trophy “ era. . . Never learning that “you lost” try harder next time . Failing a class and being left back were all core values that we learned to overcome and accept over the years we grew into adults . . . But when your given participation trophies for just showing up, or loosing and still being rewarded has definitely Damaged an entire generation to not be able to process feelings and learn acceptance to self failure and learning to work hard to accomplish and achieve success in life.

Now a days people like to point fingers, put blame on others , and have developed a terrible hate towards others for having different views. .

Come on people . . Wake up ! Toughen up ! It’s okay to not agree , and we must be open and honest with others and most importantly remember to Respect others. . . If you don’t like something that’s OK if you don’t agree with something that’s OK to just move on and don’t dwell on the things that don’t matter. . .

People will always be people, never will everyone be in agreement on anything , and that’s okay .

As a nation we must always remember to care for your neighbors friends and family. Even care for those we Don’t know, God is watching and we shouldn’t judge others because whose judging you? What makes you better than the next guy? Do you really know what other people have been through as to why they’re in the situation that they’re in today no you don’t and you cannot hate on others due to differences you never know how somebody got to where they are and who knows one day you may be at rock-bottom and want the support and help from those around you but do you deserve it based on how you’ve treated others?

As Americans we can all do better then what we are doing. . . Be Proud! Make a difference! Be above the negativity that surrounds us daily . . . Make change!

Change can only happen if we take a step back and reevaluate the way we as individuals respond to situations. . . We can only change ourself . We cannot change or control others , but we can come together and make change if we put others and the greater good before our selfishness and closed minded way of thinking that seems to be happening across our nation . . . We are Better then this. Politicians need to stop attacking each other, and worry about themselves and their own contributions to the greater good of our communities, cities, states and the USA as a whole.

It is so annoying to see politicians bashing each other on commercials, pointing out each other for their wrongs and negative messages they put out there. Why not take that money spent on commercials, and FIX a struggling community, build a library, feed the hungry, and get the homeless the resources they need to have a chance of recovery and lead them to a better path in life. That should be the political messages that politicians put on TV. Instead of worrying about the “other opponents.” What is it that YOU are doing on an every day to help others? Or make change ? Or just being selfless and do something for someone else for a change with out the expectations of receiving something in return.

Where is the Love?

So I want to send out this story to express my dissatisfaction in the way us Americans are acting. Stop being so sensitive, move on , learn to accept different options, and it’s okay to make mistakes and even fail at things in life. That’s Life!. Failing at something or making a mistake is the best opportunity to learn there is no other way you will learn lessons if you do not make mistakes along the way and it’s OK to fail nobody is perfect.

We can be Strong , we can accomplish Great things , , but we must always remember, if you were in someone else’s shoes. Wouldn’t you want there to be others out there that will genuinely help you in times of need? Not every thing is about You. If we didn’t have each other, then we would have No society .

Do better American!

Just your average single American white girl. Working hard every day to pay the bills and make it to the next paycheck.

One day people will wake up hopefully and realize the true treasures in life.
