The Party from Beyond
Dj Winston, age 32, called Winton by friends, was at an event; his fingers dancing over the turntables. Across the room, Delroy 34, Pete 31, and Roman 28, cheered enthusiastically as the music played on. Winton stepped down for a break and noticed an unusual glow around their table. Suddenly, the lights flickered and the music cut off. Delroy, Pete, and Roman exchanged worried looks.
A faint hum that filtered the room was growing louder. Winton decided to investigate the source of the sound. The others joined him; feeling curious yet apprehensive. They discovered a hidden door at the back of the hall. Winton carefully opened the door to reveal a futuristic room. Inside, an alien device pulsated with light.
The device suddenly spoke: “Welcome, visitors”. Winton asked, “What is this place?” “This is a portal to another world; the device replied”. Delroy’s eyes sparkled with excitement. “Let’s explore”. Pete hesitated, muttering, “Is it safe?” Roman confidently said, “Let’s trust Winton!
Winton led the way through the portal. They arrived in a vibrant alien city. Friendly aliens greeted them warmly. “Welcome; one alien said. “We need your help”. The alien explained their world was in danger. Bob and the others agreed to help. Their adventure had just begun.
The aliens shape-shifted in young women around twenty-ish. There also two aliens that shape-shifted into dogs; a Chuwawa and a s small labrador retriever. The young women's names, Mina, Galin, Maddie, and Nadine loved feeling human but needed to fix their aircraft to return home. The dogs, Jackie and Nate belonged to Mina and Galin. The were also their alien pets.
Their mission was to get home to save their planet and get home and it had to occur during the next Planet Parade, which was said to happen on June 3rd, 2024. Tomorrow was that day. When the saxophone is played with passion at 20 minutes before sunrise. The planets will be in one straight line and their ship will rev up and be ready to take off. The spacecraft was shape-shifted into the vibrant alien city that simulates the aliens home.
Pete got out his cellphone and proceeded to call Andele. She was home with her older sisters, Julianna, Mancina, and Barbarella. After hearing what Pete had to say, Andele got on her motorcycle and rode to Pete’s house to get his saxophone. No one was at his residence, so she look around and saw that bedroom window was slightly opened, so, she climbed up the ladder on the side of the house and climbed in his window. Luckily no one saw her. She retrieved the saxophone and carried it out the door with her. She closed and locked his window before leaving his room.
Andele’s heart raced as she rushed to get the package to Pete. The saxophone was the key to getting the aliens back home and now it lays in Pete’s hands. She glanced at her watch and it was 5:33 AM. Only two minutes remained before the planets would disperse, and their chance would vanish. This week will be over and the chance for all six to closely aligned will be over.
They were watching the planet parade and almost lost track of time to head for the spacecraft and shape-shift back to the alien bodies. As the planet parade unfolded, the sky transformed into a mesmerizing canvas of celestial bodies. Six planets aligned in perfect harmony, casting their other worldly glow upon the earth. Andele, Julianna, Mancina; and Barbarella stood side by side; their eyes wide with wonder. They took turns looking through a telescope since only four planets could be seen with the naked eye.
The unusual glow intensified as the planets aligned. Each planet seemed to emit a distinct blue hue. Jupiter displayed a golden radiance, Saturn’s pale blue, and Neptune’s ethereal green. Barbarella marveled at the cosmic dance, feeling a connection beyond her human existence. The faint hum resonated through the air, vibrating in harmony with the planets. It was as if the universe itself whispered secrets to those who dared to listen. What a beautiful experience.
