The Dark Web
The Dark Web is a secret part of the internet. Think of the internet like an iceberg. The visible part of the iceberg is the clear web. The clear web is things that you use every day like Google and Yahoo. But that's only the visible part of the iceberg. Most of the iceberg is below the water in what is known as the Deep/Dark Web. It can either be called the Deep or the Dark Web. In this, I will be referring to it as the Dark Web.

Can Social Media Really Be Bad for You?
I’ve written about articles I’ve read on my technology blog and have also listened to podcasts in regards to the subject. While I just recently posted about the Equifax breach on the new 01.media site posted to the web through the Vocal platform, I recently saw after my article published there, an article entitled: "Social Media Is Bad for Your Soul" by ALLISON K. JONES and it got me to thinking about posting my own thoughts about the subject. Mind you, I’ve been talking about this type of thing for awhile now, oversharing, posting where you are, telling people what you’re doing or eating, etc. are just indicators. Let's talk about what caught my attention in the article I read through Vocal’s 01.media site.

The security industry is continuing to come out with more information in regards to the massive data breach at Equifax. This is not any ordinary breach, where a database was taken from a company and put underground for those people to sell, and others to report on it like Brian Krebs. Having this data in the wrong hands can be pretty terrible for you — and can even be a life-ruiner in certain situations.

Equifax Breach
Hello everyone. As lots of us know, there has been a recent breach, and this one has me really worried. This has nothing to do with the recent ransomware attacks that have plagued the news, but more stolen data from social security numbers, credit card numbers, potential driver license numbers, and a staggering number I just don’t know what to say about.

Safety on the Internet
Every day thousands of data is stolen by hackers. Well, what do they want to do with it? Many people probably think this and do not extend the horizon of their view. Hackers do not usually keep the data, but sell it to corporations. Ever heard of spam mails? Many of you have probably already received an e-mail like this and were thinking about, Where the hell do they have my e-mail addresses from? Well, now you know.
