Story of a middle-class family
Middle-class family 2024
Middle-class family—a family that does not have wealth, but has the necessities and means to make ends meet most of the time. The struggles, dreams, and daily life of a middle-class family are very real and simple. However, the members of this family feel selfless love, respect, and the importance of being together. Here is a story that illustrates the reality of middle-class family life and their dreams:
Story: "Traveler on an Unknown Path"
Selim and his family lived in an old neighborhood of the city. Selim was a bank officer, his wife's name was Ruksana, and their only child was Rahul. Selim's monthly income was sufficient, but when thinking about the necessities and dreams of the family, it always felt like something was missing.
Ruksana was a skilled and vigilant housewife. Her main goal was to provide proper food and proper education for each member of the family. But still, the harsh realities of life created many obstacles in their path to happiness.
here came a time when Rahul had his annual exams in school. Ruksana and Salim arranged for him to get good results for Rahul. But Salim knew that his income was not the only way to meet everything.
One day, while Salim was going to the office, his colleague Ajay made him a proposal—"If you take up some extra work in the afternoon, then there might be some extra income."
Sain got a little worried. He thought that maybe by working a little extra, they could do something better for their family. But on the other hand, spending time with his family was also very important to him. Still, when life is difficult, many decisions have to be made.
Finally, Salim decided—to do the extra work. But at that time, looking at his son's face, he realized that he not only had to earn money, but he also had to be by his side and give his son the right direction.
Then Selim, Ruksana and Rahul made a decision together – they would work as hard as they could, but the importance of spending time with their family would never diminish. The core of a middle-class family is love for each other and the determination to stay together in difficult times. Selim understands that the true definition of happiness is not just about money, but also about love, understanding and helping each other.
Over time, Selim’s hard work pays off, but he knows that the real lesson of life is that family is the only source of true happiness for a person. And his middle-class family taught him that lesson.
Story: "Behind Dreams"
A middle-class family. Everyone's day-to-day struggle, work after work, trying to do something good for the family—this was the daily life of the couple Suman and Sheila. Suman was an employee in a private organization, and Sheila was a school teacher. They had a 12-year-old daughter, Pihu. Although Suman and Sheila were running the family with each other's support and love, they still had one sorrow—they didn't have enough money to fulfill Pihu's dream of education.
Pihu was very talented, she always did well in school. Her desire was to become a doctor when she grew up. But, Suman knew, it was not possible to bear such a huge expense with her family's income. But Sheila had one idea—"If Pihu wants to, she can. I and you will do as much as I can."
One day, Pihu told her mother, "Mom, I want to become a doctor. I want to help people when I grow up." Sheela paused and said, "Everything you want is not possible, but if you love our life strongly, then you can move forward towards your dream."
Meanwhile, Suman, struggling to cope with his workload and household expenses, was thinking in his mind—"How will it be possible to fulfill Pihu's dream? Can we?" When Pihu was little, Suman and Sheela would sometimes encourage each other, but now the situation had changed—they wanted Pihu to do something good with her education.
One day, when Suman returned home from the office, Sheela gave him some surprising news. "I have decided that I will teach small tuitions in the evenings after school. That will generate some extra income, and I will be able to save for Pihu's education."
Suman was a little surprised and said, "You can really do all this?"
Sheela said with a smile, "If I have to work a little extra for her, then I have to do it. Do we have any other choice?"
From then on, Sheela started tutoring in the afternoons after school. Suman also became more focused on her work. They started trying as much as they could, and started planning how to meet the expenses of Pihu's studies.
After all their hard work and sacrifice, after a few years, Pihu was able to get admitted to a medical college. That day, Suman-Sheela hugged each other and said with great emotion, "All the hardships and hard work of our lives have been worthwhile, Pihu, this is our biggest reward for you."
Pihu then looked at them and said, "I know that you have made me suffer and struggled. But I will never forget the value of your sacrifice. I will be able to achieve my goal, because I know that I am never alone."
On the day Pihu got admitted to medical college, Suman-Sheela realized that even if money and wealth are not everything, if the family is together and gives each other courage, then dreams can be fulfilled. And their little daughter, Pihu, will move forward on the path of her dreams with their respect, love, and encouragement.
