There are several issues that might show up when you’re running a regular electronic device over time of use. It’s like your car that you need to get serviced after some thousand miles of use. The computer that you’re running on might come up with some issues after a long time of use. Some of the common problems that you see on your computers can be fixed easily with a DIY solution and some are rather that you go to your repair professional near you. Some of the common problems on your PC which I’ve resolved and which you could do it by yourself are listed below:

Noisy hard drive issue:

Hard drives are the main component that your data can be stored in. Your regular use of hard drives gets you a noisy hard drive after a long time of use. If you hear a clicking or grinding sign on your computer that might be an issue with your hard drive and it’s time to replace your hard drive. Hard drives have a short life span so after a long time of use they make the noise issues. There are newer options like a SSD which could replace your hard drive and make the reading and writing of your data even faster than your hard drive. They have a higher lifespan than your regular hard drive so you don’t have to change it a lot.

PC crashing before booting from the OS:

If your PC turns on and keeps on rebooting from the boot screen then it’s not finding an operating system to run from your current hard drive that it’s running on. There might be an issue with your hard drive or your RAM that’s running on is corrupted. If you have a multiple RAM slot first take both the slots out and keep it back to check if it works if it doesn’t run keep your RAM in one slot and try to find out which RAM is causing this issue. IF that’s not the issue check your hard drive and try to boot it up with an external hard drive to find out the source of your issue which will resolve your problem.

PC fans not running:

If your PC’s fans stop working just look at the regular issue first. Just take a handy leaf blower or a small dust blower at your house to remove all the dust and furs from your PC, that should help you get rid of the clogging issue with your fan. If this didn't help you fix your PC then try running it with a software issue like fan control and speed fan app which should help you resolve your issue.

Overheating PC:

There are several reasons for an overheating PC. The most common reason for an overheating PC is overclocking your CPU, heavy graphics usage on your GPU. If your heat sink from your processor isn’t able to dissipate heat outside your system then this issue occurs. Make sure that your thermal paste that you applied while installing your processor is placed correctly. Check your fans on your processor and graphics card to see if they’re working. If you have a good operating system and your software is working your issue should be solved with a fan replacement.

Malware on your Computer:

Computer malware/computer virus is another issue when you use your PC. People have a misconception about windows being susceptible to viruses but that’s not the case depending on how you use it. Windows defender on your Windows 8/ Windows 10 is a built in antivirus program that helps to protect your computer from any malware infection on your computer.Until and unless you go to some sketchy websites and download everything from unsecured sites your Windows defender protects your computer. It will also perform a regular scan of your computer to see if there’s any issues on your PC to keep it free from viruses. If these solutions don’t help then go to an authorized repair shop or your local repair shop to repair your PC.
