We have several options for creating content, such as writing, audio, videos and social media.

In writing, we must keep in mind the best CMS for our strategy. No audio, the best host for our podcast format. In the video, the best platform for our communication style. In social networks, the one that pleases us the most and corresponds to expectations.

See, that our strategy at first should be based on vanity metrics, being likes, applause and followers, then comes the monetary returns, each one in its own time.

The best host, CMS, server, or platform, whatever you want to call it, is the one that your strategy is working on (lots of likes and followers, or one of the two in good amounts).

This is not just up to you, the platforms that host our content must be willing to distribute it in a democratic and growing way. That is, being willing to help us grow, or find our audience in an organic and healthy way.

Written Content

I divide the CMS into two groups; first, where the subdomain, (your blog’s web address) has no authority, ie it doesn’t show up in search terms easily.

Then we have a category where CMS have subdomain authority.

Nowadays we have a wide range of CMS (platforms to manage content mainly in written form [Blog]).

WordPress

The leader of CMS is WordPress, many people use it because of its functionality, however, it is not completely free, as many say to the unwary and laymen on the internet.

Yes, you can start with a free blog, with a WordPress subdomain, but you won’t have all the features released.

To have the famous plugins, for example, you have to pay and expensive.

In this type of CMS, the subdomain has no authority, which means that in addition to paying dearly, you will have to spend time in content production and SEO to have relevance or evidence on the web.

Medium

It seems to me to be the best, the platform distributes and recommends its content. Users are active readers, and writers on the platform often help each other out, you get followers by writing regularly.

Most of your readers will be foreigners, so be careful, look for a Medium community in your native language, so your marketing strategy isn’t at the mercy of a foreign audience.

Quora

I find the Quora ‘interface’ very polluted, and it’s confusing for me to distribute the content. Most of them are trivia content.

On the other hand, it has an authority subdomain, your content will certainly rank well on Google, and it has one more positive point, there is no error at the time of translation.

Those who do not write in English suffer from this problem:

You write in your native language and even then the platform translator insists on changing the text left confused (which happens on Medium, for example).

On Quora you choose your language, you’ll have an audience for your language, and you won’t have to worry about the translator modifying your text in their own language!

Conclusion:

If you have the money and time to invest, start with WordPress without a doubt. Now, you don’t have money, and you want to have a lot of followers, start with Medium. If you just want to have a space and rank high in search terms, start with Quora.

Audio Content

I don’t have much to say about audio. I’ve only had experience with Anchor.

If you want to create a podcast, Anchor is the app I’ve used and recommend.

It distributes its content within Spotify. If you want, you can broadcast your content to other hosts, on the platform, in the RSS settings.

Video Content

YouTube

The problem with YouTube is that there, it is already full of professionals. So it can take time for you to build a good audience. Since the platform certainly prioritizes the big players.

You must be aware of features and SEO to grow as fast as possible.

TikTok

TikTok is the way out, for those who are in a hurry with vanity metrics, it is very democratic in the distribution of content on the server, similar to Medium in this aspect.

Kwai

This platform is similar to TikTok, if you usually work on your PC, this alternative might not be for you, as Kwai, for now, does not have an app for PC.

Social Networks

Having a social network supporting you can be excellent for a Content Marketing strategy. All are “free”, that is, you don’t have to pay anything to sign up, and you can get followers, likes and make sales or commissions, in addition, most importantly, scale your content.

Facebook

Always involved in controversies, the giant is in apparent decadence. So, as Tumblr, years ago, dropped out of the picture, I think Facebook’s days are numbered. Since there is no adhesion of the new generations (Z and Alpha) who are more interested in TikTok, Kwai, Instagram and YouTube.

If you have a Facebook page, it’s sad to see your content being recommended to only 1 or 2% of your followers, for organic traffic, Facebook is, in my opinion, not good for an organic traffic strategy.

Tumblr

Tumblr was once good, but has fallen out of favor. Unfortunately, it was supposed to be an Instagram, today it’s kind of a bewildered Pinterest, a social network of beautiful images basically.

My experience there was not good. Low engagement rates. Things are a little mixed up there, I think they haven’t met yet. Or, I, who am not able to handle the tool, ended my activities there.

It’s worth checking out the platform.

Pinterest

Pinterest has grown a lot in recent years, all over the world.

84% use Pinterest when deciding what to buy;

98% tried something they found on Pinterest;

77% discovered new brands or products on the platform.

Another survey of the platform’s users in the United States brings interesting data: 1 in 2 millennials use Pinterest, showing the power of the network with the new generations.

Also, that idea that Pinterest is only for women can now be reviewed. Yes, they are the majority (about 70%), but the male audience is also there: 40% of new users are men, and 1 in 3 American parents use Pinterest.

For organic traffic, it’s excellent, but the platform user must keep SEO in mind and know how to pin correctly to attract clicks on their link strategy.

Twitter

On Twitter, you must be a person in the know and with formed opinions about many issues that guide society, authenticity is the key on Twitter, so you will grow, as soon as possible, organically.

There should be time to tweet several times a day.

Instagram

At the moment Instagram, for one, of my strategies is the best network. Active users. Good engagement rates. There are reels that are short videos, the platform is highly recommending those who make this type of content with videos of up to 59 seconds.

Lives

DNAE Productions

The lives are coming out better than the order, for an organic traffic strategy I think it’s one of the best ways. You can live stream on Facebook, Instgram, Tiktok, YouTube, and Twich.

There are some bureaucracies regarding the lives since they are live content and depending on what is done or said, it can violate the rules of the communities.

For those who have Android, IOS or any operating system on a smartphone it is easier than the browsers for PC. For PC, I recommend Twich.

Conclusion:

I don’t have the resources to invest, and I want fast growth.

Have you noticed that for an organic traffic strategy, you must have “free time”, we know we are not productive 24 hours, so I produce or work a maximum of 9 hours a day on average 7 hours of work a day.

If you have an occupation, you should set aside at least 4 hours a day for an organic traffic strategy. You need to look at it as an occupation too. More than a hobby, a little less than a job, since in principle it will not be remunerated.

I’m focused on writing for Medium, dealing with vanity metrics, it’s the platform that, as a writer, has so far garnered the most followers.

On Instagram third-party content, where I don’t appear. In a totally different niche of Writing.

These are my priorities to build an online audience quickly.

The most important thing I learned in these two years learning and executing Digital Marketing strategies without investing money is:

You don’t have to spend money to grow, on the contrary, you can even lose the money invested. On the other hand, if you don’t have consistency you won’t get the desired results.

You have to know all possible means and stick with the one that gives you the best returns.

To grow up fast, understand one thing, you can’t do what you like.

To grow fast, you have to do the right thing!

What’s working is what will make you grow on the web, it’s a subject, or the format of the content, or a certain platform.

Remember, these tips are for growing fast and without money. Under these conditions, I have been learning, in practice.
