The Pixel 10 will be available in Frost, Obsidian, Indigo, and Limoncello, while the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL will come in Obsidian, Porcelain, Moonstone, and Jade. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold has been teased in a Moonstone-like grey color with other shades expected.

The Pixel 10 Pro will come with the screen size to around 6.7 inches, offering 480 Hz touch sampling and the same peak brightness. The Pixel 10 Pro XL will come with a 6.8 inch QHD+ LTPO OLED with an adaptive 120 Hz refresh rate, protected with Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and a 3,000 nits peak brightness. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold will have an 8 inch internal foldable display with a 6.4 inch external display, both will be supporting 120 Hz and up to 3,000 nits with enhanced durability on the cover screen.

Performance & SoC

All Pixel 10 models are powered by Google’s Tensor G5 processor, manufactured using the 3nm TSMC for better efficiency and performance. The base model Pixel comes with 12 GB RAM and either 128 GB or 256 GB of storage, while the Pro variants offer between 12 GB and 16 GB of RAM, with the Pro XL up to 1 TB of storage. The Pro XL also equipped from a vapor chamber cooling system for better thermal management.

The front camera will come with 10.5MP. It is worth noting that the main and ultrawide sensors are slightly lower end compared to the Pro line.

The Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL features a more advanced triple camera system with a 50 MP main, 48 MP ultrawide, and 48 MP telephoto lens. The Pro XL comes with a 42 MP selfie camera and 8K video recording capability, while the base model is limited to 4K. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold uses a 48 MP main camera, 10.5 MP ultrawide, and 10.8 MP telephoto lens, paired with a 10 MP internal selfie camera. Software & AI Innovations

All models will launch with Android 16 and receive seven years of OS and security updates. AI features will be available like Camera Coach, Speak-to-Tweak, sketch-to-image generation, and video generative tools which is powered by Google’s Gemini AI. The upcoming Pixel Sense assistant brand is expected to launch here, and some models may launch with Gemini Space integration before it arrives on older devices via Pixel drop updates. Google is also likely to offer a complimentary one year subscription to its Google AI Pro service with select Pixel 10 models.

Durability & Connectivity

All models are rated IP68 for dust and water resistance, including the Pixel 10 Pro Fold which makes it one of the few waterproof foldable phones. The devices use Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front and back, paired with an aluminum frame and flat edges for added protection. Connectivity is up to date, with 5G support across all models. The Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL gain Wi-Fi 7, bluetooth 5.3, ultra-wideband (UWB) on Pro models, and satellite texting support round out the wireless features.

Comparison & Verdict

The Pixel 10’s biggest upgrade is its triple camera system with telephoto zoom, a first for the base model. At $799, it delivers exceptional value by combining Google’s AI features with solid hardware. The Pro and Pro XL offer enhanced displays, faster charging, higher end camera systems, more RAM and storage, while the Pixel 10 Pro Fold becomes a more durable and refined foldable option thanks to its waterproof design and brighter screens.

Accessories & Ecosystem

Google’s new Pixelsnap Qi2 magnetic cases are designed to align perfectly with the Pixel 10 series charging coils, enabling 15 W wireless charging and compatibility with MagSafe style accessories like mounts and stands. These accessories not only complement the flat-edge design but also expand the usability of the phones, particularly for the foldable model where protection and grip are more critical.

Final Verdict

The Google Pixel 10 series marks a significant leap forward for Google’s smartphone lineup, blending refined hardware with AI capabilities. By equipping even the base Pixel 10 with a telephoto lens and maintaining competitive pricing, Google has closed the gap between its standard and Pro models, offering excellent value across the board. The introduction of the Tensor G5 chip, built on TSMC’s efficient 3 nm process, ensures smoother performance, better thermal management, and improved battery life.

The Pro models, particularly the Pixel 10 Pro XL, provide flagship level experiences with brighter, higher resolution displays, expanded storage options, and better camera hardware capable of 8K recording. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold emerges as one of the most durable foldables on the market, improving water resistance and display brightness.

Google’s focus on AI integration with features like Camera Coach, Speak-to-Tweak, and generative tools sets the Pixel 10 series apart from competitors, signaling the future direction of smartphones. With seven years of OS and security updates, the Pixel 10 lineup is not just a device for today it’s built for the long haul. For users seeking innovation, longevity, and AI-first experiences, this series is a standout choice.
