Then select the file msgstore.db.crypt12 and rename it to msgstore_BACKUP.db.crypt12. This is a recently taken backup file and you should rename it to prevent it from being overwritten. If things go wrong, So you can always change this file to its original name and restore it
Now you will get to see a lot of files in this folder with the format msgstore-YYYY-MM-DD.1.db.crypt12. These are old WhatsApp backups. In this, find the recently deleted message file and replace it with the name msgstore.db.crypt12
Now you need to open Google Drive on your phone, touch the icon of three vertical lines -> Click Backup. Now remove backup from WhatsApp. This will force the phone to be restored from local backup
now, Uninstall WhatsApp and install again, then configure it and once you do it, So you will receive a message from the local backup to restore your chat, Given that you do not have a cloud backup. After doing Chat Restore, all the deleted chats will be reunited.
How to recover WhatsApp data from Google Drive
Take care To successfully restore Backup from Google Drive, you need to use the same phone number and Google account to create Backup.
Uninstall and reinstall WhatsApp. Open WhatsApp and register with your same number.
Then tap on RESTORE to restore your chat and media from Google Drive after Google drive is indicated.
After the restoration process is complete, tap NEXT. Your chat will be displayed after initialization is complete .
WhatsApp will start restoring your media files after your chat is Restore.
If you install WhatsApp without any prior backup from Google Drive, WhatsApp will automatically restore from your local backup file, and your old Chats and Message will be Restore .
How to retrieve Backup in WhatsApp from your local storage.
If you want to use a local backup, you have to transfer files to a new phone using a computer, file explorer or SD card.
Pay attention to these things :-
Your phone stores local backup files for the last seven days
Local backup is automatically created at 2:00 pm every day and save it as a file in your phone.
If your data is not stored in the / micro SD card / WhatsApp / folder, you can see in the "Internal Storage"or"Storage" folder.
