Community mourns after gunman kills 8 at Texas outlet mall

A COMMUNITY IS GRIEVING AND SEARCHING FOR ANSWERS.
BUT THAT DOESN'T MAKE IT ANY EASIER FOR FOLKS IN ALLEN, TEXAS,WHICH TAKES ITS PLACE ON A LIST OF NEARLY 200 MASS SHOOTING IN THE US..
WE ARE ON PACE FOR THE WORST KIND OF RECORD
WORST KIND OF RECORD FROM THIS AFTERNOON MASSACRE.
WHAT IS GOING ON IN AMERICA THAT MAY BE CONTRIBUTING TO THIS SURGE.
FIRST, NEW DETAILS ABOUT WHAT TOOK PLACE THERE
WHEN EIGHT PEOPLE WERE KILLED AT AN OUTDOOR SHOPPING MALL JUST OUTSIDE DALLAS.
THE SUSPECT WHO ALLEGEDLY INTERACTED
WITH NEO-NAZI AND WHITE SUPREMACISTS CONTENT ONLINE PRISCILLA THOMPSON OPEN FIRED TO THESE INNOCENT SOULS.
There are many, many people in our community
who are hurting. Whose lives have been shattered
and who need and deserve our collective prayers and
and they have them. There are people of faith all or
our great community ministering
to those families and. They of course have our prayers in this.
A vigil was created the next day at the Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church.
And this church which does such a wonderful job with so many others in the faith community and wrapping their arms around supporting
people in their time of need.
A much needed night of healing and hope. Governor Abbott and
Speaker Dave Phelan, Dept. of Public Safety who have offered their full support to this tragedy.
Chris Hill, the Collin County Judge. Near the outlet mall like all in our community, my family and I shop there often and know this community and know this area well.
My family and I are are heartburn
and devastated for the loss of loved ones that we experienced today in our
community and we're angry about those,about those that would do evil in our own,in our community, in our backyard. But we are proud of what has been a truly countywide response.
All of our municipal police departments and
fire departments and our county agencies,
the Sheriff's Office and the the constable,
deputies and our state partners
and our national partners.

GUNSHOTS SHATTERING THE PEACE OF A SATURDAY AFTERNOON SHOPPING.
EIGHT PEOPLE WERE KILLED AND SEVEN MORE INJURED, INCLUDING CHILDREN. POLICE SAY, AFTER A GUNMAN OPENED FIRE AT THIS SPRAWLING OUTLET JUST NORTH OF DALLAS.
A MALE SUBJECT WEARING TACTICAL GEAR.
HE HAS WHITE LETTERING ON THE VEST THAT SAYS POLICE OR SECURITY.
THE ALLEGED SHOOTER GOT OUT OF HIS CAR AND BEGAN FIRING.
THE SUSPECT WAS KILLED BY AN OFFICER WHO WAS ALREADY ON SCENE FOR AN UNRELATED CALL. HE HEARD GUNSHOTS,
WENT TO THE GUNSHOTS, ENGAGED THE SUSPECT, AND NEUTRALIZED THE SUSPECT.
ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS SAY THE SHOOTER WAS 33-YEAR-OLD MAURICIO GARCIA, WHO HAD INTERACTED WITH
WITH NEO-NAZI AND WHITE SUPREMACIST CONTENT
ONLINE OVERNIGHT.
OFFICIALS SEARCHING THE HOME OF THE ALLEGED SHOOTER AS NEIGHBORS WATCHED IN KIND OF QUIET.
ANOTHER GRIEF-STRICKEN COMMUNITY GATHERS TO MOURN AND TO HEAL.
SIX OF THOSE PATIENTS REMAIN HOSPITALIZED,THREE IN CRITICAL CONDITION.
AS THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE ARE GATHERED TO PRAY FOR THOSE WHO ARE HOSPITALIZE AND FAMILIES WHO HAVE LOST THEIR LOVED ONES.
