Clean up your mess

I didn't deserve this mess. A nail in the tire by going over a rail track where we live at.

So here is the story. Yes, I am mad and upset that people do not put up stuff off the road when they drop things if they know about it of course.

As we were driving down the road planning our day. We crossed over a rail track and to our surprise we would get the biggest surprise of all.

A flat tire on a new car because of what I would like to call road trash from a careless maintenance truck that went over the railroad track yesterday.

Our car is new only three month since we bought the car so all the miles that were put on was us.

With weekly trips to the car wash to keep it shiny and new. Only the best gas for this little car or ours.

It is all shiny and new with the original parts until we went over the train tracks. Why can't people just put things back their stuff in the right space that it needs to go?

You sat there waiting for the car to come with nail on the track.

Guess it was our turn for the nail to attack my shiny new car of only three months,

All we heard from the wounded car was the thumb, thumb, what could it be we both knew what it could be and wished that it wasn't.

We limped to the nearest car tire place for a new tire to fix our wounded car.

My husband is outside on this trusted cell phone. Only be to told by our car dealer said that it is a 4-hour wait but this is an emergency to them this was an emergency said they are booked also they would say.

We can't wait that long but we will take you anywhere you want to go they said on the other end of the phone.

See my husband has Cancer we need to have a working car in case of a medical emergency.

No way we said, So we order the tire from the car tire place. It is 2- 5 business days should it be in.

So we got in the nerdy car with the doughtnut tire on.

I could feel everyone looking at us. Only if people would clean up the darn roads we would not have to get a new tire for our shiny new car.

Oh why, oh why can't people just pick up things on the road? Ok, maybe they didn't know that the nail left off the maintenance truck which was going over the railroad tracks. When that truck went over the tracks we will never know.

Image to our surprise a few hours later. A phone call from the tire place that our tire was in. But you must wait until 3 so we can put on the tire.

This was not going to be a problem as long as other people would stop looking at the nerds in the new car with the doughnut tire on its car.

The time has come to get the tire. Oh, what joy. We won't be nerds and people staring at us. We leave with the enjoy in our hearts. That we are not nerds no more.

To anyone who doesn't put up their mess on the road, I hope that you find out a nail will mess up your life for a day or two because your car dealer might be busy and you not have a tire place near.

Yes, we are lucky that we were not going fast. It could have been worst. Also, it seems that the cars that we owned over the years. Like to pick a stay nail from time to time.
