Pinterest, a social media network with over 400 million monthly users, is a platform where users share and interact with an incredible number of various photos. Users who see each other's photos on Pinterest, on the other hand, can set sail for much more different interests.

We can think of Pinterest as a board, as we can start from the word Pin, where its name is contained. The only difference is that instead of being an ordinary cork board, the sharing platform Pinterest is an almost perfected digital board. Of course, the fact that there are so many users increases the competition. That's why people are looking for alternatives. Here are the best apps and websites like Pinterest.

We Heart It

We Heart It - app and website available

Although its establishment dates are very close to Pinterest, social media has not been as successful as Pinterest. Nevertheless, it deserves to be included in the list of best websites like Pinterest thanks to its very nice design and considerable audience. Although it does not remind Pinterest with its interface, the two recently established sites are very similar in content sharing and management.

You can add pictures to your favorites by clicking the "Hearth" button instead of "Pin", and you can see similar pictures displayed by the people you follow on your panel, just like on the Pinterest board. You might think the website is female in terms of colors and content, but you should check out this medium-sized media with all kinds of audiences. Also, unlike Pinterest, podcasts can be shared on We Heart It.

MIX

Mix - app and website available

With the closure of the StumbleUpon site, Mix.com was offered to the users of the site. StumbleUpon was mostly frequented by people looking for different websites. It was a blessing especially for the users of the randomness button on the StumbleUpon site. Come see that the coming is looking for the outgoing.

While StumbleUpon loyal visitors may look cool on Mix.com, Mix is still one of the most used social media sites. As such, website owners who want to bring backlinks or visitors to their sites continue to use Mix frequently. Its easy-to-use and user-friendly interface has made me place it on list of websites like Pinterest.

Dribbble

Dribbble - app and website available

In short, Dribbble is a social platform where design-oriented people come together. Unlike Behance, we can say that it mainly consists of more distinguished people. People who post on Dribbble can find job opportunities from different parts of the world. There is already a separate job posting page called "Jobs for Designers".

In the previous years, the invitation system was dominant, and nowadays, anyone can find an invitation code. You don't need an invitation code to track posts. Since everyone is given an invitation after their new partner (February 2017), anyone who wants can upload work.

You can directly send a message to the designer whose work you like, you can add the design to the bucket as in Behance. You can also see the designs you like, as in Behance. By the way, to like a design, just press the L or F key while the design page is open.

Mamby

Mamby - only website available

Mamby is a very new social network that rewards its users with Bitcoin. This social network has most of what Pinterest has to offer, unlike most common features it uses an algorithm that shows you contents based on your interests and hobbies. The artificial intelligence algorithm implemented here, after spending a short time on the site, analyzes your habits and behaviors, learns your wishes and displays images and videos accordingly. With it, you will be rewarded with cryptocurrency based on the interaction you send and receive your own videos and photos.

At the time of this post, there were no other websites like Pinterest that paid users Bitcoin for likes and views. The downside is that it doesn't have enough users and is still very early on the road.

Foodgawker

Foodgawker - only website available

This Pinterest-inspired website is not only the perfect place to discover new dishes, ingredients and recipes for cooking, it also covers some different topics ... Saving a hundred dollars a month? like Stop eating and start cooking! By cooking for yourself, you eat healthier and save money, and it can even become a fun and relaxing hobby. It's also a great place to show off beautiful photos of food.

The only difference to FoodGawker is that it is curated. You can submit your own photos and links, but editors review all posts and have the final say on what to post. On the one hand, this maintains a high standard of quality but is losing some of its Pinterest-like appeal.

Designspiration

Designspiration - only website available

I find this social media very successful. The design of this site is very similar to Pinterest. Although it does not have a mobile application, this site is very responsive. You can use it very easily with your mobile web browser.

Here you can also create boards like Pinterest and interact with other people. The feature that distinguishes it is that it has pro memberships. You can design Vision boards and use this app without ads with pro membership. I think you need to check out.

DudePins

DUDEPINS - app and website available

Dudepins is another Pinterest-inspired site that caters to a male demographic. What sets Dudepins apart from others is that they tend to be a little classier than their alternatives. There is not NSFW content and there are not any stupid internet memes. Which is a shame because I think it has the potential to be the real media site for men on the internet and they can reach a very good audience with a more modern design.

In terms of design, it is not as successful as Pinterest, and because there are not many sites that can stand against the original one, the list of websites like Pinterest is getting shorter every day.

My opinion

If you are going to use only one this type social media, it should be Pinterest because the others are not as high quality as Pinterest. Pinterest has a huge audience, a very detailed statistics panel and very accurate rules. And has a very effective algorithm against spam. Also you can find longer list for websites like Pinterest, but most of them are not active anymore and useless.
