7 Crazy Features Coming to Apple Products in 2022 and Beyond
Apple products have the most innovation and reliability. Every year Apple releases new products with great features. Here are our predictions for new features.

Apple is an industry leader and often stuns the world with its innovative technology. Although growth for more visibly obvious new features has been slow, Apple has consistently improved the underlying technology. The Apple silicon chips were a game-changer in the smartphone industry, and there is nothing else quite like it. The 3D face recognition in the iPhone X was also pretty amazing.
The last year was revolutionary as Apple launched its first 5G-enabled iPhone. It is a huge step up for those of us who love to stream content online with our Internet Optimum bundles. Every year Apple launches new technology, and tech gurus start predicting what’s next. Here are the top seven crazy features the world is expecting from Apple in the next few years:
#1: Voice Recognition for Siri
Apple has always been a company that puts privacy first. All the latest updates have put information security before anything else. The major iOS update to 14.8 was all about security. Hence, we are always expecting Apple to create more layers of safety in its devices. Tech enthusiasts are sure that Apple will soon patent voice recognition for Siri.
The update will enable Siri to recognize your voice and respond to it. Siri will not get activated if someone else is using your phone. Therefore, only you will be able to command Siri and make it answer queries.
#2: Styluses for All Devices
Apple pens/styluses have been in the making for quite a while now. Tech enthusiasts always hint towards the feature, but we are yet to see it. According to a recent patent file, Apple is working on a dual point touch to recognize fingers or other devices (such as a stylus). It is by far the clearest indication of Apple working on something like this.
The device will be different from the Apple pencil for iPads and work for Macs and iPhones. It will be great to jot down notes on any of your devices.
#3: AirTags
Techies anticipated that Apple would release AirTags in 2020, but it didn’t happen. The much-anticipated product has been in the works since 2019. Enthusiasts found the beta code for these devices in the 2019 iOS 13 and have been waiting since then. AirTags are item tracking tags, and they are supposedly going to support third-party trackers through Find my Network.
#4: Reverse Wireless Charging
Competitor companies like Samsung and Huawei are already dipping their toes in this pond. The reverse charging features are present in Samsung and Huawei phones. This might be one of the features where Apple is late to the party. However, they have always proven to be fashionably late and do it better than the others.
Reverse wireless charging means that you will be able to charge other devices such as AirPods wirelessly through your phone. The back of the phone is also a charging dock, and it makes it a lot easier. There is a new patent that will enable iPhones to offer fingerprint resistance and wireless charging. Hopefully, we will see the feature soon.
#5: Foldable iPhones
The Samsung Fold series has somewhat revolutionized smartphone designs. The world was getting tired of increasing screen sizes and the number of cameras at the back. Samsung did something different by launching phones with foldable screens. Apple is also looking into the feature, and sooner or later, we will see foldable iPhones in the market.
While they are at it, let’s hope they make the design super sleek. The Samsung phones are a bit too chunky for most people’s liking. Talks of the folding iPhone have been in our ears since 2016, and we are hoping that Apple has a prototype model now.
#6: Virtual Keyboards for MacBook
The virtual MacBook keyboard is a really innovative and exciting feature. The world expects that soon Apple MacBooks will replace the keyboard with a virtual interface. You can change the utility of the space for whatever you want to do with it. The interface can also recognize gestures to correspond with commands like slide to scroll, etc.
As there is no physical keyboard present, you can make a virtual one in the settings. It can come with different keyboard layouts, joysticks for gaming, app-based controls, or a charging dock for your iPhone. So, Apple will be giving you a virtual interface that can essentially work for multiple purposes. It is fascinating to even think about, but given this is Apple, it is not impossible.
#7: AirPods with Temperature Sensors
The pandemic has put this feature into a new light altogether. Apple keeps adding new features related to health into its devices. The latest patent suggests that Apple wants to add temperature sensors to the fabric of wearable devices. This means that temperature sensors can be incorporated into Apple AirPods and new Apple Watch models.
The temperature sensors will be able to monitor body temperature consistently. It can be a useful tool to monitor blood flow and heart rate as well. Apple is moving forward and creating features that help more than just the average iPhone user. Even doctors, nurses, vets, and other professionals can benefit from a lot of these new features.
