They offered the second-largest payment ever made to a photographer for a single photograph. The amount was "in the low six figures". The photographer had to send the original film and sign the paperwork; however, when the couriers and delivery companies came to know the value of the shipment, they all declined since it was higher than their insurance world cover. So Microsoft bought him a plane ticket to Seattle and the photographer personally delivered it.
