Facebook

Now hold on, I know what you’re thinking. How can you possibly get content ideas on Facebook it’s a social media platform. What people don’t know about Facebook is that you can get the best content from your newsfeed.

All you have to do is scroll through your newsfeed and you will come in contact with current posts that can give you insights that will resonate with the audience in your niche.

Another way of getting content ideas from Facebook is by checking out your trending section. This section allows you to see feeds about trending news and happenings around the world.

This section is found on the top right corner of your Facebook page, you can get insights from sports, entertainment, and fashion the list is endless.

There is also the FYI search section on Facebook. I know a lot of you have used this section of Facebook and you didn’t even notice that this section autocompletes your search phrase, shows you how many people are talking about this phrase and it shows you groups and forums for the phrase you’ve typed in.

This can be a great way to get content ideas and even develop these ideas into valuable content based on real-life happenings.

Quora

This site is amazing for getting content ideas because no topic is off-limits here. You can see what the public is interested in and the questions they need answers to.

All you need to do is scroll through your feed or go to your search bar and type in a phrase or even your niche and you will be provided with trending topics the public is currently talking about.

Now if you decide to ask questions on Quora. You should ask questions that help you find relevant content ideas for your niche, be sure that these questions will provide answers that will help solve the pain points of the audience in your respective niche.

For example as a content writer if your niche is Fintech then you can ask questions like; What aspects of the Fintech industry do you still find confusing?

Do you understand how Fintech affects your daily lifestyle?

The answers to these questions can give you a better insight into what to write about because now you would be solving your audience's problems.

If you do not want to ask your questions in a general forum you can do so in a niche-specific forum which is great because most of the time these forums are filled with experts in your niche and these experts can answer your questions thoroughly which will give you enough insights to find solutions to your audience issues.
