Machu Picchu - Located in Peru, this 15th-century Incan citadel is a marvel of engineering and architecture, and it remains one of the most visited tourist destinations in South America.

Machu Picchu is an Incan citadel set high in the Andes Mountains in Peru, above the Urubamba River valley. Built in the 15th century and later abandoned, it’s renowned for its sophisticated dry-stone walls that fuse huge blocks without the use of mortar, intriguing buildings that play on astronomical alignments and panoramic views. Its exact former use remains a mystery.

The Pyramids of Giza - These ancient structures in Egypt are among the most famous historical sites in the world. Built more than 4,500 years ago, they continue to inspire awe and wonder.

Accessed via a narrow canyon called Al Siq, it contains tombs and temples carved into pink sandstone cliffs, earning its nickname, the "Rose City." Perhaps its most famous structure is 45m-high Al Khazneh, a temple with an ornate, Greek-style facade, and known as The Treasury.

The Taj Mahal - This stunning mausoleum in Agra, India, was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife. It is considered one of the greatest examples of Mughal architecture and a testament to the power of love.

The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the south bank of the Yamuna river in the Indian city of Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan (reigned from 1628 to 1658), to house the tomb of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal.

Angkor Wat - Located in Cambodia, Angkor Wat is a massive temple complex that was built in the 12th century. It is one of the largest religious monuments in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Acropolis - In Athens, Greece, the Acropolis is a collection of ancient ruins that includes the famous Parthenon temple. It is one of the most important historical sites in Greece and a symbol of Western civilization.

Stonehenge - This prehistoric monument in England is a mystery that has fascinated people for centuries. The massive stones, weighing up to 50 tons each, were brought from miles away and erected in a circular pattern that continues to baffle historians and archaeologists.
