Who is P.I.F.F. ???
Get to know what the P.I.F.F. Nation movement is all about [reprint]

INTRODUCTION
Today is Monday, May 29, 2023. Memorial Day 2023 and I’m sitting in my room, smoking a Newport short menthol cigarette to the head as I reflect on where I’ve been through out my journey and where I’m heading to next. For many who know or knew me, some changes are coming in ways I myself never even expected and to those who are just to come to know me, allow me to introduce you to the world of P.I.F.F. [Positive Influence For the Future] lifestyle...
I was born on July 2, 1985, so yes, I am a Cancer. A Cancer with an old soul who loves music with a passion. I often joke and say I’m an ’80s baby with a ’70s spirit! I love to joke and have a good time and spread love with my people. I began writing at the tender age of 7 years old in second grade and as my talent developed by the age of 11, it became my passion and lifelong dream to become a published writer. My dream first become reality in 2007 when I was 21 and signed with my first magazine job at Street Connfinement Magazine out of New Haven, Connecticut. From there, I would spend the next decade of my life publishing interviews and articles/ blogs on upcoming entertainers in the underground and indie markets around the world. What began as a hometown dream turned into an adventurous career. Sadly crashing to a halt in 2020 due to the Covid-19 plandemic, I was forced to hit rock bottom and revert back to square one all over again.
And yet, even as I write this first of many new blogs to come... I know that although I have fallen time and time again — and yet again — I cannot give up and I must continue to push forward with the motivation of spreading forth P.I.F.F. for me, my children, and the future generations of the nations to come… this is my story in the making… if you care to get enticed, come and follow me and get to know just what my vision is all about…

THE MAN [XAVIER PRUE]
Xavier D. Prue was born on July 2, 1985 at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. Abandoned by his mother at the age of 5, he was raised by different women in his life including his aunts and his great-grandmother, known in the community as “Nana”. Lacking a positive father figure or true role model in his adolescent life whom he could relate to, he began getting involved in the street life around the age of 11. In 1996, growing up on the West Side of Norwich, CT, Xavier began smoking cigarettes and weed and drinking and selling drugs with his peers, many of them several years his senior.
Beginning a life of crime and becoming a part of the legal system as a young teenager, Xavier spent his early adult years in and out of jail and probation offices. Incarcerated on a gun charge in 2006, Xavier connected with a positive source in the entertainment industry who would offer his a way out of the street life and into a promising career doing what he really loved. As he focused on his lifelong dream of becoming a writer and music artist, he began to open doors in his life he never knew existed and began turning his dreams into reality.
Becoming a father for the first time at the age of 23, Xavier was blessed with twins — a boy and a girl — and they became the motivation he needed to truly leave the streets alone for good. Focusing on becoming a positive father to his children and breaking the cycle in which he and his siblings grew up in, he began to pursue higher ambitions in the entertainment industry to provide for his family. After Street Connfinement Magazine went out of business in 2010, Xavier took some time to reflect on his life journey and in 2012, began his own magazine and formed his own company known as P.I.F.F. Magazine. From there, he engaged on his vision with the world and became known as Piff Magz.

THE ENTERTAINER [PIFF MAGZ]
I created and launched the very first issue of Positive Influence For the Future Magazine [P.I.F.F. Magazine / P.I.F.F.] on December 26, 2012 and it had a solid run and global influential impact over the course of 8 great years with some ups and some downs, but valuable life lessons along the way and priceless memories. After my business fell apart in 2020 right at the peak of my greatest success in that moment, I decided that my life work with P.I.F.F. shouldn’t end with the closing of the magazine. Although it was a tough realization to accept, I realized that sometimes one chapter has to come to an end in order for the next one to begin. That’s when I decided that from a marketing standpoint as well as the continuation of my lifelong journey, I will embrace the name of “Piff Magz” as an extension personality from the root of my career beginnings. In this way, my original audience will still be able to continue following along with me without having to begin from a new brand name. I am the definition of P.I.F.F. because I come from nothing and still I rise, striving each day to keep going even when all of the odds are stacked against me.
Who is Piff Magz? Piff Magz is a hip-hop artist and writer/ ghost-writer from Connecticut. Originally known in the ’90s as X-man, he once was a slick-talking street rapper with songs about violence and drug dealing and gang life. He matured into a street poet and battle emcee during the era of 2005–2013 under the moniker X-Caliber, but as he grew into a man who was able to escape the street life, he began to become a positive artist and role model who even stopped using profanity in his music. Under the new identity of Piff Magz, he began to emerge as an educated lyricist with a positive message for the P.I.F.F. community. A music artist, poet, ghost-writer, and author, Piff Magz can be booked for music collaborations, writing assignments, performances, and podcast interviews.
