Hi, my name is Alexander Paradox.

If you're wondering “Who am I?” you’re not alone. Even I sometimes wonder what exactly I am. I want to use this article to introduce myself and share who is behind the keyboard writing these words.

If things go as planned, we will become regular acquaintances, and maybe even friends, as I connect with you through my articles. So, if you’re interested in the person writing this article, by all means, please continue reading.

My Name

First, let’s talk about my name. Of course, it’s a pen name. Honestly, it was on a complete whim that I decided to use a pen name instead of my real name when I began writing online. Initially, I just wanted to use this name for the main character in a fanfiction I was planning to write.

However, I quickly lost motivation to continue after receiving a harsh comment on only the second chapter of the story.

Now that I’ve decided to start writing online articles for both fun and as a means to earn some money, I chose to use this name in the hopes that it will motivate me to improve my writing skills and inspire me to continue growing as a writer.

Who Am I?

I am a 21-year-old guy living in Rajasthan, India, currently pursuing a B.Tech degree in Computer Science. I hope to make writing my full-time career if this venture goes well and I can earn enough to support myself without my parents' help.

Why Did I Choose Writing?

Since childhood, I have always been interested in creative fields like music, painting, and so on—though admittedly, I am terrible at painting.

Even now, I’ve realized that I am a very creative person at heart and would love to work in a field that allows me to get lost inside my head and imagine something wonderful. It would be like a dream come true.

I love getting lost in my thoughts, far away from real-life problems like finishing that C++ project or preparing for the RHCSA exam.

I enjoy crafting stories about getting reincarnated in Star Wars as an immortal Archmage capable of wielding the Force or becoming a Harry Potter wizard and researching mysterious magics like the Patronus Charm and Fidelius Charm.

The very idea of escaping this boring reality to some unknown world of fiction excites me to no end. I want to create my own stories about adventures I would have in different worlds—from Ben 10 and Naruto to Game of Thrones and Marvel.

I am even willing to explore genres like Xianxia, where I can live as a cultivator and show arrogant young masters the true meaning of Mount Tai.

I am extremely passionate about all of this and want to start writing my own stories, creating my personal omniverse in my head and putting it into words to share my adventures with the world.

More importantly, I wish to share my thoughts and ideas with people who have similar dreams and passions and hope to inspire them as they look at the worlds I’ve created, while also getting inspired by their comments and ideas.

I want to see how others react to the stories and worlds I create, and how their views and ideas will inspire me, change my perspective, and give me new viewpoints.

Through my writing, I wish to inspire others and be inspired in return. I hope to learn from their thoughts and beliefs, and share my own in the process.

I hope that when someone comes home from work, tired and depressed, they can find some comfort in my stories and the worlds I’ve created, free from the problems of this complex reality.

I am extremely passionate about this work and would eventually like to make it something big and an integral part of my life.

Why Start With Writing Articles?

Now, let’s talk about why I’m starting with writing articles.

At the risk of sounding arrogant, I believe I’m pretty good at coming up with stories and even better at structuring them and making them coherent. But where I lack is in my writing skills.

I’m not very good at writing prose, as one particular comment pointed out: it felt like they were reading a telegram, not a story. This might have been due to using an editor designed for academic articles, not fictional stories.

I only found out about the editor issue later on, which somewhat reassured me that I wasn’t completely talentless at writing.

So now, I’m starting to write online articles and stories to improve my writing skills and hoping that one day I’ll become a qualified author.

How Can You Help?

I hope that you, my wonderful reader, can support me on this journey. Here’s how you can contribute:

If you feel that my writing can improve and have any suggestions, please give me tips on how I can get better. (Note: Please use gentle words—my fragile heart thanks you.)

While I’m confident in the stories I create, if you think they can be further refined, please comment and provide constructive criticism. I aspire to become a professional writer, so I should be willing to take feedback. (Note: But try to make the blow soft—still have that fragile heart.)

Finally, if you think you can spare some change to help feed your favorite author, you can support me through Patreon or any other system I set up. (Note: It’s not necessary, but it would be highly appreciated and would help me immensely in becoming a full-time author.)
