Week 8 of Write A Story Every Day in 2024
The week I hit 50. Stories, that is.
50 stories. One for every year I've been alive. A half century. A Hawai'i. Whatever you want to call it, 50 stories have been written and published which means 316 to go. That's still a lot.
Last week saw some lighter stories in a bid to shower Vocal in some of the kinder, more optimistic aspects of life. I have admitted that I probably won't be able to sustain it. Oh, and squirrels featured. In both microfiction and poetry. And they will in the round-up next week too. They are the bane of my rather nice existence, furry little pests.
Anyway, here's the round-up of last week's from the 19th onwards with links to the other weeks' summaries.
Enjoy!
So that's this weeks. Here are the links to the previous weeks' stacked posts:

I think my favourite is Moving In out of these collection! Also, quick question. What would you do once you're done with all 366 stories? Would you take a break?
Congratulations, Rachel. Though shouldn't it be 60? (January 31 + February 29 = 60 days.)
Still picking on the adorable little bushy-tailed rats? lol. Well done on hitting 50.

Congratulations on fifty stories in fifty days, Rachel! And feel free to set the world on fire with more menacing tales from the world of furry little pests and other enemies of order and community bliss.
Uh-oh. It might be #60. Don't sell yourself short.
