The morning was quiet, and the air smelled fresh after the night’s rain. My dog, Medo, was already waiting by the door, his tail wagging excitedly from side to side. As soon as I picked up the leash, he jumped with joy — he knew our favorite walk was about to begin.
We headed toward the park, where the trees were still dripping tiny raindrops and the grass was wet and fragrant. Medo sniffed every bush, every bench, and every patch of grass as if he were discovering the world for the very first time. From time to time, he would look back at me, as if to make sure I was still there, then bark happily and run ahead again.
In the park, we met a few people with their dogs, and Medo instantly wanted to greet them all. After a bit of running and playing fetch, we both sat down on a bench. He curled up by my feet while I watched the sun slowly break through the clouds.
In that moment, I realized that walks like these are more than just routine — they are small joys of life that remind us how important peace, nature, and companionship truly are.
