Throughout the ages images of demons

Eventually, the family's minister Reverend Luther Schultz arranged for Roland to stay in his home one night for observation. He reported vibrations and scratching sounds from Roland's bed and on the walls. He also witnessed an armchair in the room tip over and a pile of blankets tumble on their own accord. After the exorcisms commenced, the events escalated. Young Roland had bruises, bite marks, and inscriptions on his skin--including "help me" and other marks reading "evil." They became worried that his declining health would make him unable to finish the exorcism, so they decided to stop. However, the family continued to have scratches on their bodies. Eventually, they moved into a beautiful colonial-style house on Roanoke Drive where the exorcisms continued similarly - with scratches on their bodies and thumping noises coming from Roland's bedroom.
