Ever since Akua was growing up as a woman any man who tried to marry her would face a terrifying experience. A dark, supernatural force would torment them, driving them to the edge of madness.

People believed that Akua had a spiritual husband, a malevolent entity that possessively guarded her and would stop at nothing to keep her from finding love with anyone else.
