The Return of the Stolen Donkey

A surprising twist that brought back more than just memories

By Rohitha LankaPublished 10 months ago 1 min read

I decided to go abroad for work.., My father came to say goodbye to me and bless me for my success.

After returning from two years of exile, my father and mother went out of the house to visit some of our relatives in another village..,

That day a thief had come and stolen the donkey that was in the house..

Two days later, the thief went to the market and loaded all kinds of fruits and vegetables on the donkey that he had stolen from my father..

The thief was busy in the crowd and missed the donkey....

Since the only way he knew was to our house, he had to walk and walk until he reached the house, but the donkey came and tried to enter through the door, but he could not do it because of his luggage.

Hearing the sound of the door knocking, my father opened the door and saw the donkey carrying vegetables and fruits...

He shouted at our mother and said to her:

Hey .....

Come out and see our donkey...!!!

We went two days ago and brought it to the door of the market

Your son has been abroad for two years...

We haven't seen a single tomato!!!
