The joys of Christmas

Its that time of year again, Christmas. celabration fun laughter, and sharing with Family and Friends. Christians from all parts of the world getting ready to celabrate the birth of baby Jesus. But is it all celebrations fun and sharing for everyone?. Some seem to think that Christmas is just a way to make more money. take what they can from peoples pockets. Christmas is known to be the time of Good will to all men, but it seems more along the lines of i can make more than you can.

Have you noticed long before Christmas even begins supermarkets, local shopping centres have started putting out the Christmas items before we have even got past Halloween. You take the children into their local store to buy their halloween costumes and bags of sweets for trick or treaters, just to find Christmas trees Christmas crackers and Tinsel. Another point that has been mentioned to me afew times. is the fact that toy stores start advertising their goods long before christmas starts, and when they do advertise them, they seem to always show the most exspensive brands of toys.

This can turn into alot of upset for children whos parents may be on a low income or not currently working, and can not always afford these kind of prices, in turn millions of children are left hurt and heartbroken, to make it even worse the children start to comment with its ok if you cant get it for me Santa clause can, and considering the real truth this does not help matters. if its not to make more money, and use the season just as an exscuse, Then why do they do it in the first place.

Last but not least, im sure you remember the good old says, you could go see Santa in the shopping center, go to Santas Grotto sit on his lap get a photo and present, They have had to ban this now due to the bad people around, you go stand next to him quick photo and back out this really spoils the traditions we know, i think personelly they need to start looking at the holidays. and realise its a time for celabration, not for high ended buisnesess to get greedy and spoi; it for those who really do want to celabrate this time of year.
